Jerry Sullivan has been named the editor of the Orange County Business Journal in California, replacing Michael Lyster.
Chris Casacchia writes, “Sullivan, the Business Journal’s managing editor since October, will oversee production of the weekly newspaper and its daily news website.
“Sullivan served as a reporter, marketing and media columnist and managing editor of the Business Journal in the 1990s.
“He also served as editor of World Trade magazine in Irvine, California Apparel News in Los Angeles, and started and ran the Los Angeles Garment & Citizen, a community newspaper that covered the Downtown Los Angeles area for 10 years before ceasing publication last year.
“‘Jerry continues our strong tradition of extraordinary editors at the Business Journal, following the tenures of Rick Reiff and Mike Lyster,’ said Business Journal Publisher Richard Reisman.
“Lyster is leaving the paper to become vice president of corporate communications at Irvine Company.
