NBC head defends CNBC, Cramer

March 18, 2009

Jeff Zucker, the CEO of CNBC parent NBC Universal, defended Monday the business news network and one of its stars, Jim Cramer, in the wake of criticism of its coverage of Wall Street and the economy.

“Speaking at the McGraw Hill Media Summit Wednesday, Zucker also said that the media was not to blame for the Iraq war or the Wall St. meltdown.”
