Lou Dobbs show to begin in two weeks

Fox Business Network announced it will debut a new evening program hosted by Lou Dobbs on Monday, March 14.

The show, titled “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” will appear weeknights at 7 p.m. EST and feature a breakdown of the day’s top stories and how they impact the economy.

Joined by a variety of experts each evening, Dobbs will examine the news of the day with a focus on how it affects American taxpayers. The live program will also feature a “Lou Dobbs’ Moneyline” segment designed to highlight emerging financial trends and top market moves.

Dobbs had been a longtime business journalist on CNN before leaving after 30 years. He joined Fox Business in 2010. Dobbs served as an anchor, managing editor and executive vice president for CNN, hosting various programs including “Moneyline,” which premiered in 1980 and was later renamed “Lou Dobbs Tonight.”

“America’s Nightly Scoreboard” with David Asman, which is currently in the 7 p.m.slot, will move to 9 p.m.
