Kiplinger, CNBC sites to share content

May 19, 2009

CNBC and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance announced announced an agreement in which the two will share content for a special feature titled “Investor Spring Cleaning: A CNBC and Kiplinger Special Report” on CNBC.com and Kiplinger.com. Â

Under the terms of the agreement, CNBC will provide articles to Kiplinger.com, and Kiplinger will provide content from the magazine and its website to CNBC.com. Each site will establish direct links to the other’s site.

“We are always looking for new ways to bring relevant content and coverage to our audience,” said Allen Wastler, managing editor of CNBC.com, in a statement. “We are excited about this agreement with Kiplinger because it reinforces CNBC.com’s mission to provide its users with the most comprehensive and qualitative reporting and analysis.”Â

“This is a great opportunity for two great names in financial journalism to pool their talents for the good of all,” added Doug Harbrecht, new media director for the Kiplinger Washington Editors. “Our trusted, independent analysis and judgment will reach a huge, new audience, while the Kiplinger audience benefits from the coverage and resources of the global leader in business news.”
