Jaroslosvky left Bloomberg News in November 2013. He had been an executive editor at Bloomberg until 2009, when he moved to San Francisco to become a tech columnist. His tech column later began appearing in Bloomberg Businessweek after the magazine was acquired by Bloomberg.

Jaroslovsky is also vice president of content and chief journalist for SmartNews, a news app that has more than 13 million users worldwide.

He spent 27 years at The Wall Street Journal, and was once managing editor of WSJ Online.
