Amanda Vicinanzo, the business editor at the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star in Virginia, is leaving the paper at the end of the month.

Vicinanzo is becoming the public information officer for the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office. Her last day at the paper is Sept. 29.

Vicinanzo took over as editor of Fredericksburg Business Insider last month. It’s a weekday e-newsletter covering local, state and national business topics.
