Flood writes, “While Fox News continues to dominate its competition, sister channel FBN’s programs have now scored two monthly wins over rival CNBC for the first time ever.

“‘Varney & Company’ beat CNBC’s Squawk on the Street/Squawk Alley with 180,000 total viewers (versus 167,000). Previously, Varney had won the 11 a.m. ET hour, but this is the first time that the three-hour program has swept CNBC’s combined market-open coverage for a month.

“In addition ‘Lou Dobbs Tonight’ topped CNBC’s counter programming with 247,000 total viewers (compared to 109,000) and 44,000 in the key demo of adults age 25-54 (against 41,000).”
