The story states, “He was business and auto editor for The News Herald (Southgate) from 1994 until 2000.

“He joined The Oakland Press as business editor in 2000 and left in 2006 when his job was eliminated amidst a staff reduction.

“As business editor, he oversaw numerous projects and daily business coverage.

“‘He had an eye for detail and was a total gentleman to work with at all times,’ said Local News Editor Julie Jacobson Hines.

“On a lighter side, his cooking was a favorite item at potluck lunches, where he would bring his homemade Polish food including stuffed cabbage. He loved cooking for his family.

“He later wrote for the Oakland Business Review and became editor of the Michigan Lawyers Weekly, where he wrote a column ‘Full Disclosure,’ and wrote about law school, the Michigan Bar Exam, elections and law practice management.”
