Eisen hired as WSJ markets reporter

Ben EisenBen Eisen, who worked at Bloomberg News for the past 15 months covering structured products, has been hired by The Wall Street Journal to cover the markets.

His first day is Monday.

On Twitter, Eisen wrote, “It was a great ride working with brilliant ppl at Bloomberg.”

Eisen previously worked for MarketWatch.com for 21 months covering the capital markets. Before that, he worked as a senior reporter at Debtwire covering municipal finance, budgeting, distress, and bankruptcy nationwide.

He also worked as a research analyst at the Corporate Executive Board. He’s a Cornell University graduate.
