I’m pleased to announce that “Worldwide Exchange” will broadcast from CNBC Global Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, starting January 4, 2016. The program will air from 5 am – 6 am ET.
Anchored by Sara Eisen and Wilfred Frost, “Worldwide Exchange” will deliver essential, actionable information and analysis for anyone who wants to be part of the global business conversation. It will prepare CNBC’s worldwide audience with a smart take on overnight U.S. news and live international market action.
Anne Tironi will serve as Executive Producer of the program.
Sara and Wilfred are savvy, energetic and accomplished individuals. Sara will bring her passion for currency markets and her reporting expertise on global consumer brands while Wilfred will offer the unique perspective of someone who has managed money as an investment professional.
Wilfred, who will move from London and be based at CNBC’s Global Headquarters, will also join our team of reporters covering banking and finance. Sara will continue to co-anchor the 10 am ET hour of CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street.”
Wilfred joined CNBC in 2014 in London where he anchored “Worldwide Exchange.” Wilfred graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics and worked for five years as a fund manager with Newton Investment Managers in the City of London before opting to pursue a full-time career in journalism. He also previously managed a TV production firm and completed a number of on-screen assignments for broadcast networks.
Anne is a 13-year veteran of CNBC. She is creative, well-respected and is the perfect person to lead the WEX team. She most recently served as Senior Producer on “Squawk Box” and joined the network in 2002 as a segment producer on the early morning program, “Wake Up Call.” Anne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
