CNBC's cuts back "On the Money" — again

May 29, 2009

Chris Ariens of TVNewser is reporting that the CNBC personal finance show “On the Money” that has been airing five nights a week will be cut back to just a Saturday night episode.

Ariens reports, “The show, hosted by Carmen Wong Ulrich, had been airing weekdays at 10pmET. We hear CNBC documentaries will now run at 10.

“This is the second time a show called On The Money has been removed from CNBC’s weekday schedule. Former CNBCer Dylan Ratigan, and later Melissa Francis, anchored an iteration of the show until September, 2007. The title was re-purposed and turned into a personal finance show last summer.”
