CNBC’s digital operations set records in November

CNBC.com and the business networks digital operations had their best November ever in terms of both unique visitors and page views.

According to the latest data from comScore Media Metrix, the site was visited by 7.3 million unique users last month, a 24 percent increase compared to the same time period last year, and recorded 373 million page views, a 35 percent increase year-over-year.

CNBC Mobile also scored records for November. CNBC’s iPhone application posted 79 million page views, representing a 90 percent increase year-over-year, and also posted its best month ever in terms of unique visitors, a 29 percent increase compared to the same time period as last year, according to Omniture.

CNBC Mobile Web recorded 78 million page views, which represents a 29 percent increase year-over-year, according to Omniture. And CNBC’s Android application saw a 47 percent increase in page views year-over-year, according to Omniture.

CNBC.com is the No. 1 business news website in minutes per visitor with users spending an average of 104 minutes on the site in November. And it is the No. 1 website in pages per visitor, with an average of 51 pages per visitor consumed, more than any other site in the category.
