July 19, 2009

CNBC launched its Chinese language website to provide Chinese viewers with financial news, commentary and analysis.

The main sections of CNBC’s Chinese website include business, economy, blogs and columns, most of which are translated from selected content available on CNBC’s global website

Other content includes videos, translated transcripts of selected programs, and interviews of prominent guests. In the future, CNBC plans to display written commentary by Chinese financial experts and economists on the Chinese website.

This website will provide the best financial news and information to our Chinese audience and further promote our brand in the region,” said Jane Wang, vice president of advertising sales for China, CNBC Asia Pacific, in a statement.
