Mike Huckman, a CNBC correspondent who covers the drug and biotech industries, announced Monday that he’s leaving the business news network for a public relations job with MS&L as senior vice president, reports Chris Ariens of TVNewser.

Ariens writes, “‘After nearly 10 great years at CNBC and nearly 27 years in TV news I have decided to leave the media business for an exciting second act,’ Huckman tells TVNewser.

“It might be another month or so before Huckman signs off CNBC where he’s covered the medical beat for the last eight years.”
