Business Emmy winners: “PBS News Hour” and “60 Minutes”

Emmy“PBS News Hour” and CBS’ “60 Minutes” received Emmys on Thursday for business news stories.

PBS and the Center for Investigative Reporting won in the regularly scheduled newscast category for “Deadly Oil Fields.” The executive producer was Sara Just, and the reporter was Jennifer Gollan.

“60 Minutes” won for outstanding business and economics reporting from a news magazine for “The Swiss Leaks.” The executive producer was Jeff Fager, and the correspondent was Bill Whitaker. This story was reported in collaboration with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.

In addition, PBS won the Emmy for outstanding business and economics reporting in long form for “The Homestretch” on “Independent Lens.” The executive producers were Justine Nagan, Gordon Quinn, Andrew Schwertfeger, Lois Vossen and Sally Jo Fifer.
