Bloomberg Markets magazine names new publisher
Bloomberg Markets magazine has named Michael Dukmejian as publisher, reflecting Bloombergâ€™s commitment to expansion of its media products.
The position is a new one at the company.
“There isnâ€™t anyone more qualified, experienced and passionate to become publisher of Bloomberg Markets magazine than Mike Dukmejian,” said Bloomberg News editor in chief Matthew Winkler, to whom Dukmejian will report, in a statement. “Bloomberg Markets readers are the people with the most at stake in the markets, the economy and global policy. Mike Dukmejian brings to Bloomberg an exceptional appreciation of our unique high net worth global readership.”
Dukmejian will work alongside magazine editor Ronald Henkoff, who reports to Winkler.

Dukmejian was executive vice president at SourceMedia Inc., where he oversaw the Professional Services Division. He spent more than 26 years at Time Inc. in a variety of positions in publishing, sales and marketing, most recently as group publisher for the Fortune and Money Group and CNNMoney.com. Dukmejian earned an MBA in Finance from New York Universityâ€™s Stern School of Business and a bachelorâ€™s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
