Mary Jane Credeur, the airlines and freight reporter for Bloomberg News, announced Tuesday that she is leaving the news service.
In an email to friends and colleagues, Credeur wrote:
After more than eight years at Bloomberg News, I’m leaving to pursue a different career track.
I’ve accepted a position doing financial research and analysis in the Atlanta office of Transwestern, the largest privately held full-service real estate firm in the U.S., spanning leasing, tenant advisory, investment and development.
My years at Bloomberg spanned deals as varied as Coca-Cola’s $4.1 billion purchase of VitaminWater parent Glaceau, and the epic spate of airline mergers: Delta-Northwest, United-Continental, Southwest-AirTran and (maybe) American-US Airways. It’s been a great run, and I’ll miss working with such fine colleagues and associates.
As per Bloomberg policy, today is my last day here.
Credeur previously worked at the Atlanta Business Chronicle and the Gwinnett Daily Post. She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University.
