Another person upset with Forbes' valuation

We’ve noted in the past that when Forbes does its list of the richest people in the world, that some of questioned the valuation that the business magazine has come up with for their fortunes. Donald Trump has questioned his in the past, though he is now suing a New York Times’ business reporter for writing a book that gives a personal net worth much less than Forbes.

ForbesNow comes Cuba leader Fidel Castro, who apparently went on Cuban television on Monday to refute the magazine’s assertion that he is one of the world’s 10 richest leaders and has $900 million socked away in foreign bank accounts.

Said Castro, “I challenge everyone, above all that petty thief Bush, the US intelligence agencies, the thousands of banks in the world, to prove it. If they can prove that I have a bank account abroad with 900 millions, or 1.5 billion dollars, or with one single dollar, I will resign my post.”
